Alfie
* Sorry, I’m not available for adoption *

Year of Birth- 2022
Arrived at Pug Rescue – March 2022
I was surrendered as my owner was moving. I settled in well, but then all of a sudden the carers at the Sanctuary noticed I wasn’t well. Turns out I had bladder stones. Then the Vet thought I may have a liver shunt. So off to Onderstepoort I went. Turns out I do have a liver shunt and I need to be on a very strict diet. If I eat anything besides my special diet, I could get very sick and die. It was decided I would move into the Gaw house with the other special needs Pugs so I could be strictly monitored. We have loads of fun in the house running and playing.
To sponsor this pug, it will be:
R250.00

Pug Rescue South Africa is home to many Pugs that will never find homes for various reasons. Some are due to health and others are due to their age.
At Pug Rescue South Africa our sanctuary Pugs as we refer to them are offered a home away from home living experience where they will be cared for until the day they cross over to the rainbow bridge.
Sponsoring one of these Pugs will assist us in continuing to care for them at a very high standard.
