Arrived at Pug Rescue – June 2023
I was surrendered with Woody as our owners could not longer care for us. We were in foster care in Cape Town and I had to be rushed to the emergency Vet. It was discovered I have Addison’s disease. We got a lift from Cape Town with Tiny Paws Rescue to the Sanctuary in Benoni. I have the best Vet looking after me. Due to my condition, I have moved into the Gaw household with other special needs Pugs. I am settling in and have made some new friends.

Pug Rescue South Africa is home to many Pugs that will never find homes for various reasons. Some are due to health and others are due to their age.
At Pug Rescue South Africa our sanctuary Pugs as we refer to them are offered a home away from home living experience where they will be cared for until the day they cross over to the rainbow bridge.
Sponsoring one of these Pugs will assist us in continuing to care for them at a very high standard.
