Arrived at Pug Rescue SA- October 2022
I was surrendered with my friend Chubby as our owners had passed away. There was no family that could take us in. We were fetched and arrived at the Sanctuary where we met so many new Pugs. Sadly I was not in the best state. I had a bad ear infection, an eye infection and my nose fold was inflamed. With the best Vet care, I am now on special food and medicine. My eye sight is not the best and due to my infections flaring up from time to time, I am now a permanent resident at the Sanctuary.

Pug Rescue South Africa is home to many Pugs that will never find homes for various reasons. Some are due to health and others are due to their age.
At Pug Rescue South Africa our sanctuary Pugs as we refer to them are offered a home away from home living experience where they will be cared for until the day they cross over to the rainbow bridge.
