Peggy
* Sorry, I’m not available for adoption *

Year of birth: 2011
Arrived at Pug Rescue: April 2019
I hail all the way from Cape Town. I was surrendered to Pug Rescue as I had to sleep outside as I have no control of my bladder.
I received no veterinary care from my previous owners for my condition and I did not even have a vaccination card.
Pug Rescue had to have me vaccinated and then had to wait 14 days to fly me (aviation regulation).
In the meantime they set up an appointment for me with their specialist vet Dr Garry Eckersley. I have damage to my nerve that controls my bladder, bowels and tail.
I also have damage to the branches of my sciatic nerve. The nice doctor is treating me and my bladder and bowel are being managed.
The nice people at Pug Rescue told me it is okay if I wet my bed as they understand that I do not do it on purpose.
Please sponsor me.
To sponsor this pug, it will be:
R250.00

At Pug Rescue South Africa our sanctuary Pugs as we refer to them are offered a home away from home living experience where they will be cared for until the day they cross over to the rainbow bridge.
Sponsoring one of these Pugs will assist us in continuing to care for them at a very high standard.
